This is a handcrafted drum of Peruvian origin called a Cajon. It has become very popular around the world in recent years
The box is made of lauan plywood and the front playing head is thin coated plywood. There is a 4' 1/2 "sound hole in the back.
It features recessed screws, a nice glossy finish and adjustable internal guitar strings for a great slap sound
The center of the coated head produces a massive bass sound. Its sound resembles that of a 26" kick drum. It is perfect to play with not only for an acoustic guitar but a rock band.
