This is a handcrafted bass kalimba Caribbean origin called a Marimbula. It has been around for over a hundred years.
The box is made of lauan plywood and shina tree plywood. There is a 3 1/8 "sound hole in the front. It features a nice glossy finish and adjustable 8keys.
It is perfect to play with an acoustic guitar and a cajon. It sounds like a stand up bass- will cause folks to look around for the stand up bass they hear. It easy to play- if you can clap your hands in time to the music and learn to hear the I,IV, V chords you can play
It stays in tune- requires tuning like once a year. Attractive quality construction- should provide a life time of musical enjoyment.
