７０〜８０年代、今ほどメタルマウスピースの種類が少なかった頃、よく「デュコフとリンクの中間」という表現をされたメタルである。メタルにしては大人しめのサウンドで、フュージョン、ロックなどよりビバップ向けのマウスピースだろう。コントロールはしやすく、音は太めでパワーはそこそこ。

Very round sound. Not as edgy as most metals. Not well suited for altissimo. You will sound more like Paul Desmond and Grover Washington than you will David Sanborn or Dave Koz.
