新曲"One More Chance"を含んだベスト盤です。チャートで1位を獲得した曲(Number One)ばかりが収録されています(注1)。 収録曲数を多くするための苦肉の策と考えられますが、前奏等をカットしている曲(注2)があります。 前作"Invincible"に引き続き、初回出荷分は4種類のジャケットが用意されました。 なお、アメリカ盤/ヨーロッパ盤での収録曲が異なります(注3)。日本盤の収録曲はヨーロッパ盤と同じです。

注1:ビルボード誌のチャート(アメリカヒットチャート)で1位を獲得した曲ということではなく、様々な国でのヒットチャートで1位を記録したものという 意味のようです。なお、"break of dawn"はシングルカットされていないため、チャートの記録がありません。(ラジオリクエスト等で1位を記録した国があるのかもしれません。)
