この模様はアルバム 『ウイングス・U.S.A.ライヴ !!! 1976』 で聴ける。さらに、ライヴ映画「ロック・ショウ 1981」で見られる。
1976年のアメリカ・ツアーから始まる、Wings 全盛期の熱狂のロック・ショーを伝えるライヴアルバム 「WINGS OVER AMERICA」 は、
アナログ盤では３枚組というヴォリュームにもかかわらず全米１位に輝いた。
（注：George の All Things Must Pass も、３枚組で全米１位）
この時期、Paul は、Live の中盤で、必ずアコーステイック・セットを用意していたが、
これは、当時、人気実力共に、世界最高のバンドだった、Led Zeppelin のLive 構成を意識した結果でもある。
（実は、Paul は、Rock Group としては、Led Zeppelin を、Acoustic Group として、S&G を意識している。
このWings の Richard Cory は、まぎれもない S&G-Paul Simon を意識した結果であろう。）
さらに、このアコーステイック・セットの、目玉曲、Bluebird のサウンドは、この 12-Fret Joint Ovation の 12弦でしか出せないサウンドでもある。

Paul McCartney liked Ovation guitars a lot.
So his wife Linda decided to give Paul a special Ovation for a Christmas present.
She wanted the Legend model but asked if we could "dress it up" for Paul. We did.
The back of the peghead had this engraving: "Love from Linda."
