TR-909 Set
Made from only pure juice out of TR-909 and is
(or should be) compatible with GM drummapping.
If you have the 8 output option on your MPC2000,
try assigning sounds to each output and
play it like the real thing. It is quite fun.
Two test sequences are included in the archive,
but my MPC didn't like the data and screwed
the track names and data up quite badly, Although
you can still load the files and play it.
They weren't that good anyway.
The file is about 990kb, will take about 5 mins.on
a 28800bps modem.
This one isn't for everyone. Firstly, it isn't compatible with GM drum
mapping.
It has slightly tangy taste of distortion and all instrument in 606
are assigned to pads
with/without accent individually. Noise at the end of each sample is
my love for 606.
include the noise the machine produces when it's not running.
There's no sequence data in this archive but try quantising all notes
to 16th note to make it
sounds authentic. This is a simplified version of the program to upload
to this homepage.
(The one I use has 3 different settings for each note)
The file is about 520kb, will take about 3 mins ona 28800bps modem.
At last a new set on the page! This one's from Mr.
Bojan Burkeljc , and indeed
a nice one, this. The file contains all .snd and .prg files ready to
load onto your
2000. Here's his comment:
Description:
These are two digital drum machines made in 80's. 707 is a
descender of 909 (similar design) and 626 is a bit newer.
Sounds:
They both feature neat hihats and cymbals, usable snares and
toms, while kicks are not that convincing (at least for techno).
Besides that, 626 features a very good latin percusion.
All sounds were sampled directly to MPC and were not normalized.
Pad assignments: not GM compatible.
download now and check out the weird and wonderful latin sounds of
Roland classics.
I'm sure you'll love those agogos and timbale sounds just as I do!
