ジェフベック最新作You Had it Comingの看板曲であり，来日時のＴＶ放映でも演奏された同曲は，スライド，アー ム，ボリューム，チョーキングにより，流れるようなギターサウンドを実現した名曲 です．私もアルバム発売と同時に即コピーし，練習しました．今や，私にとって，ジ ェフベックの曲では最も好きな曲の一つです．

原作はNitin Sawhneyさんというイギリスのアーティストが制作したBeyond the Skinというアルバムに納められています．このアルバムはインドの核実験に反対した テーマが主体となっています．Nitinさん自身，ご両親がインド人で，曲の作りも伝 統的なインド旋律や，最近のゴアテクノなどの影響を受けておられます．

この美しい旋律に乗せられた歌詞とはどんなものだろう？と長いこと，そのヒン ドゥー語の響きをに思いをはせていました．

（自分では，ナディアという女の人のことを描いた歌詞ではないかと，勝手に想 像していました．）

そして，やっと，インドのネイティブにこの曲を聴いてもらうことが実現しました．
