  Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes (英訳) もろもろの天は神の栄光を語り

Tromba, Oboe I/II, Violino I/II, Viola, Continuo		 Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes, und die Feste verkündiget seiner Hände Werk.
Es ist keine Sprache noch Rede, da man nicht ihre Stimme höre.		 The heavens are telling the glory of God, and the firmament publisheth all his handiwork.
There is neither language nor speaking, for one cannot perceive their voices. 		天は神の栄光を語り、 大空はその手の業を示しています。
言葉も語りも無く、その声も聞こえなくても。

2. Recitativo T ♪ ♭
Violino I/II, Viola, Continuo		 So läßt sich Gott nicht unbezeuget!
Natur und Gnade redt alle Menschen an:
Dies alles hat ja Gott getan,
Daß sich die Himmel regen
Und Geist und Körper sich bewegen.
Gott selbst hat sich zu euch geneiget
Und ruft durch Boten ohne Zahl:
Auf, kommt zu meinem Liebesmahl!		 Himself doth God leave not unproven!
Both grace and nature to all mankind proclaim:
This, all this, did, yea, God achieve
So that the heavens waken
And soul and body have their motion.
God hath himself to you inclined
And calls through heralds passing count:
Rise, come ye to my feast of love! 		そのように神は自分を明らかにはさせない！
自然と恵みが全ての人に語るのだ。
これは全て神の行った事だと、
天が雨を降らすのも。
霊と体が動くのも。
神は自らあなたたちへと赴き
幾度と無く使者でもって呼びかける、
「起きよ、わたしの愛の晩餐へ来なさい！」と

Violino solo, Continuo		 Hört, ihr Völker, Gottes Stimme,
Eilt zu seinem Gnadenthron!
    Aller Dinge Grund und Ende
    Ist sein eingeborner Sohn:
    Daß sich alles zu ihm wende.		 Hear, ye nations, God's voice calling,
Haste ye to his mercy's throne!
    Of all things the root and limit
    Is his one begotten Son:
    That all nature to him gather.
 聴きなさい、諸々の民よ、神の声を、
神の恵みの座へと急ぎなさい！
    あらゆる物の理由と目的は
    神の独り子にあるのです。
    それで全ては彼の方へ向かうのです。
4. Recitativo B ♪ ♭
Continuo		 Wer aber hört,
Da sich der größte Haufen
Zu andern Göttern kehrt?
Der ältste Götze eigner Lust
Beherrscht der Menschen Brust.
Die Weisen brüten Torheit aus,
Und Belial sitzt wohl in Gottes Haus,
Weil auch die Christen selbst von Christo laufen.		 Who, though, doth hear,
When now the greatest numbers
To other gods give heed?
The ancient idols' wayward lust
Controls the human breast.
The wise are brooding foolishness,
And Belial sits firm in God's own house,
For even Christians, too, from Christ are running. 		だが誰が聴くだろうか？
大多数の人々が
異教の神々に向いているのに。
特別の快楽を司る最古の偶像が
人々の心を支配している。
知恵が愚行を招き、
ベリアルが神の家に居座っている。
キリスト者自らもキリストから走り去っているのだから。

Tromba, Violino I/II, Viola, Continuo		 Fahr hin, abgöttische Zunft!
    Sollt sich die Welt gleich verkehren,
    Will ich doch Christum verehren,
    Er ist das Licht der Vernunft.		 Get hence, idolatrous band!
    Though all the world be perverted,
    Will I still Christ render honor,
    He is the light of the mind.
立ち去れ、偶像を崇拝する連中は！
    世が全く背いていても、
    わたしはキリストの方へ向かうだろう。
    キリストは理性の光なのだ。
6. Recitativo A ♪ ♭
Continuo		 Du hast uns, Herr, von allen Straßen
Zu dir geruft
Als wir im Finsternis der Heiden saßen,
Und, wie das Licht die Luft
Belebet und erquickt,
Uns auch erleuchtet und belebet,
Ja mit dir selbst gespeiset und getränket
Und deinen Geist geschenket,
Der stets in unserm Geiste schwebet.
Drum sei dir dies Gebet demütigst zugeschickt:		 Thou didst us, Lord, from ev'ry pathway
To thee call forth
When we in darkness sat amongst the heathen.
And, just as light the air
Makes radiant with new life,
Thou hast illumined and renewed us,
Yea, with thyself both nourished and refreshed us,
And thine own Spirit given,
Who dwells within our spirits ever.
Therefore, let this our pray'r most humbly come to thee: 		あなたはわたしたちを、主よ、あらゆる道から
あなたのもとへ呼び寄せました、
わたしたちが異教の暗闇の中にいた時に。
そして、光のように、空気のように
活気づけ、元気づけてくれました。
わたしたちを照らし、元気づけてくれれば、
一緒にあなたの血と肉を食べ、飲んでいられるでしょう。
そしてあなたの霊を贈られ、
それはいつもわたしたちの霊の中に漂っているでしょう。
それでこの祈りは大変謙虚にあなたへと送られるのです。

Tromba, Violino I/II, Viola, Continuo		 Es woll uns Gott genädig sein
Und seinen Segen geben;
Sein Antlitz uns mit hellem Schein
Erleucht zum ewgen Leben,
Daß wir erkennen seine Werk,
Und was ihm lieb auf Erden,
Und Jesus Christus' Heil und Stärk
Bekannt den Heiden werden
Und sie zu Gott bekehren!		 May to us God his mercy show
And his salvation give us;
His face on us with radiant beams
Pour light for life eternal,
That we discern his handiwork;
And what on earth he loveth
And Jesus Christ's own healing strength
Be known to all the nations
And they to God converted! 		神はわたしたちに慈悲深く
自分の祝福を与えます。
その顔はわたしたちに明るい輝きで
永遠の命を照らし出します。
わたしたちがその業を知り、
地上で神を愛することを知り、

Violino I/II, Viola, Viola da gamba, Continuo		 Gott segne noch die treue Schar,
Damit sie seine Ehre
Durch Glauben, Liebe, Heiligkeit
Erweise und vermehre.
Sie ist der Himmel auf der Erden
Und muß durch steten Streit
Mit Haß und mit Gefahr
In dieser Welt gereinigt werden.		 God bless then all the faithful throng,
That they his fame and honor
Through faith and love and holiness
Make manifest and greater.
They are like heaven on earth dwelling
And must, through constant strife
With hate and with great dread,
Within this world be purifiéd. 		神は誠実な群集を祝福し、
それによって自分の栄光を
信仰と、愛と、神聖さをとおして
示し、増していく。
彼らは地上においての天であって
常なる戦いをとおし
憎しみと危険を
この世で洗い清められるのだ。

Feindlichs Geschlecht!
    Christum gläubig zu umfassen,
    Will ich alle Freude lassen.		 Hate me then, hate me full well,
O hostile race!
    Christ by faith to be embracing
    Would I all delights relinquish.
ただ憎め、真にわたしを憎め、
敵対する種族よ！
    キリストを信じきって抱きしめるよう、
    わたしはあらゆる友にさせるだろう。
11. Recitativo A ♪ ♭
Viola da gamba, Continuo		 Ich fühle schon im Geist,
Wie Christus mir
Der Liebe Süßigkeit erweist
Und mich mit Manna speist,
Damit sich unter uns allhier
Die brüderliche Treue
Stets stärke und verneue.		 I feel now in my soul
How Christ to me
His love's true sweetness doth reveal
And me with manna feed,
So that amongst us here may be
The bond of loyal brothers
E'er strengthened and renewéd. 		わたしはもう霊において感じています、
どのようにキリストがわたしに
その愛の甘さを示し
わたしにマナを与えるかを。

    Jesus stirbet für die Brüder,
    Und sie sterben für sich wieder,
    Weil er sich verbunden hat.		 Love, ye Christians, in your works!
    Jesus dieth for his brothers,
    Now they're dying for each other,
    For he doth them bind to this.
愛しなさい、キリスト者たちよ、その行為でもって！
    イエスは兄弟たちのために死にました。
    そして兄弟たちはお互いのために死んでいきます。
    イエスが彼らを結び付けたのですから。
13. Recitativo T ♪ ♭
Continuo		 So soll die Christenheit
Die Liebe Gottes preisen
Und sie an sich erweisen:
Bis in die Ewigkeit
Die Himmel frommer Seelen
Gott und sein Lob erzählen.		 Thus ought Christianity
The love of God sing praises
And in themselves reveal it:
Until the end of time,
When heaven's righteous spirits
God and his praise are telling. 		それで全キリスト教徒は
神の愛を賞賛し
神について証しする。
永遠に至るまで
敬虔な心の天は
神とその賛美を語っているのだと。
14. Choral ♪ S A T B ♭
Tromba, Violino I/II, Viola, Continuo		 Es danke, Gott, und lobe dich
Das Volk in guten Taten;
Das Land bringt Frucht und bessert sich,
Dein Wort ist wohlgeraten.
Uns segne Vater und der Sohn,
Uns segne Gott, der Heilge Geist,
Dem alle Welt die Ehre tu,
Für ihm sich fürchte allermeist
Und sprech von Herzen: Amen.		 Let thank, O God, and give thee praise
The people in good labors;
The land bears fruit, its ways it mends,
Thy word doth thrive and prosper.
Bless us the Father and the Son,
And bless us God, the Holy Ghost,
Whom all the world should glorify,
To him pay rev'rence unexcelled
And say sincerely: Amen.		 感謝します、神よ、そしてあなたを賛美します
この民は良い行為でもって。
土地は実をもたらして自らをより良くし、
あなたの言葉は栄えます。
わたしたちを父と子は祝福してくれます、
わたしたちを聖霊である神は祝福してくれます、
神に世の全ては栄光をもたらし、
神を怖れてほとんどの場合
心から言うのです、「アーメン」と。
