NEW DAY 作詞 荒井勇輝 作曲 中田秀吾

A dense fog lay all around. It swallows up a new day.
The ship called “Today” blow a sailing whistle.
Many people walk with a quick step not to miss.
No one show me their smiles. No one hold up their heads.
I look for you. I wanna look at the flower in the wild.
I started to run in spite of myself and left dead men behind.

Suddenly it blew away. The fog of gray dispersed.
I find you over the avenue. You wave your hand with laughing.
I laughed too. The signal will change at once.

Very very good morning! Give thanks to God.
I’m still alive. You’re still alive, too.
I’m glad that. How lucky we are!
Grip your fist! Not to overcome the stream. Not to bury the world.
But now it’s a good morning.

Big city swallow me. The flow of no face absorbs me.
I give a bitter smile. The big blue sky is so clear.
Don’t worry. Today has already been moving.

Very very good morning! Give thanks to God.
I’m still alive. You’re still alive, too.
I’m glad that. How lucky we are!
Grip your fist! Not to overcome the stream. Not to bury the world.
But now it’s a good morning.
