Here is very sadly announcement
This past weekend one of WCSB's own passed away. Ed Cowell,
better known as Ed "The Watchman" of Watchman's Grind
(Mon 1-3pm) died suddenly on Sunday.
Ed was integral in helping WCSB provide the Cleveland community with truly alternative broadcasting.
As his listeners well know, the music you heard on Watchman's Grind was truly unique,
and could not be heard anywhere else in Cleveland (or the world for that matter).
Not only have we lost an incredibly talented DJ and co-worker, but we've lost a friend.
WCSB and its staff extends our condolences to Ed's Mother and his family. Ed, you will truly be missed!
Listeners and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend funeral services:
McGorray's Funeral Home 14133 Detroit Rd. in Lakewood. Friday 4/22 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
