	This performance is an exploration of Edo period (1600-1868) chamber music for shakuhachi, shamisen, and koto. Featuring Yoshio Kurahashi, an internationally recognized shakuhachi artist, Yoko Hirano Itatani, a graduate of the Tokyo University of Fine Arts in koto performance and presently residing in the Bay Area, and Philip Flavin, a Bay Area shamisen performer.
