AKAI electric MPC2000 page
    Akai's official MPC2000 infomation page.Nothing but a full
specification of the machine. and there's also their unregulary updated
sound data page Here (but it is in MPC-*3000* format and is a bit tricky to load.)

AKAI electric AKAI resources on the net
Another page on Akai's server. links to Akai sampler related stuff on the net.

Protolab MPC2000 page
American group Protolab puts some honest comments of the machine.

Burn MPC2000 CD-ROM

Sounds on the net:

Brian Redmond's MPC sounds
He kindly put up his banks of sounds for us to share.

Kenfen
The company known for zip-o-drums and various other quiality sample
libraries. They have free demo sounds for MPC to download.

Software:

Master Zap's HP
Drumsynthesizer 'Stomper' for windows. Page created by the author of
the software himself. what do Swedish people eat to come up with stuff
    like these?

Wavesurgeon
Cut up/ Rearrange breaks in a ReCycle-ish kind of way. Features like reversing
just one bit of a break and randomising are pretty cool.
And what's the point of Buying ReCycle when MPC2000 can't communicate to PC
via SCSI directly? Now you can save sounds in the demo version too, but register it
since it's only 15 quid, and don't forget to say 'can you support MPC2000 sound
format on your software?' when you order.

Cool Edit 96
Perhaps the best, (well, also cheapest) wave editor for windows.
it can do pretty much everything you wanna do to a sample really.
    give it a try!

Propellerhead
The home of amazing swedish company. every software they release just rocks!
go there to find out about ReCycle, Rebirth 338 and Wavelab.
