今更説明は不要でしょう。一番よく聴いたのは中学生の時でした。気が付くと、CDやLPで一通り揃ってしまいました。コメントは特に付けません。USとUKの違いを曲目で示しておきます。また、MONOとSTEREOやUSとUKとで微妙にVersionが異なるから大変です。CD化の際にはREMIXされましたので、LPとは多少Versionが異なります。ですから、それぞれのLPからCD化された海賊盤もかなり出回っています。Official Site
For Audiophile
音質的には、その当時の最新の技術が投入されているようで、その意味では安心できると思います。しかし、CD化がされたのは1988年頃のことですから、今聴くと物足りなさを感じます。White Albumの30th Aniv.は紙ジャケ限定版でRemasterと言われています(確かにデータは異なる)が、聴いてみるとさほど良くなっているとは思いませんでした。Re-MixのYellow Submarineは、B面のオケが無くなり代わりに映画に使われたSound Trackの曲も、Remix & Remasterで発売されていますので、通常で手に入るものではこれが一番良いでしょう。LPでは、やはり本国UKの初版になるのでしょうが、JP盤もプレスマスターを輸入して作られている様なので、古くて状態の良い盤(めちゃめちゃ高いでしょうが)ならかなりのところまでいくのではないかと思います。(唯一手元に残っているSgt.はApple設立後に発売された初版の2ndプレスですが、かなりのものです)他には、Mobile Fedility盤(全世界限定5000枚のはず)がありますが、とんでもない値段になると思います。(見たことも無い)1993年にDigital Remasterで発売されたLP(!!)はそれほど良い音ではありませんでした。(UK 赤&青盤を所有)
2005年にようやくRemaster盤が発売されました。良くはなっていますが、何か不自然な印象があります。多分、Remasterは96KHzで行われたのでしょう。44.1KHzへのDown Convertがあまり良くないようです。ZEPのRMほどあからさまではありませんがJacopas回路を搭載したPlayerでは違いは歴然です。
更にSgt.から50周年記念盤が順次発売(Sgt.,White,AbeyRoad,Let It Be(Singleもあり),Revolver)されています。Bonus Trackが追加されているもの(Sgt.,White)もあります。ハイレゾ版の音質は素晴らしいです。
