前作に比べ、確かに楽曲が非常にバリエーションに富んだものになっているといえるが、それは同時にchickとcathyの方向性の違いがより明確になることで、肝心なバンドらしいサウンドが薄まってしまっているといえるのも事実である。
メンバー個人の趣向に走りすぎたソング・ライティングであると、どうしてもその楽曲とバンド演奏の間に食い違いが生じてしまう。例えば本作収録の楽曲によってはかなりの演奏テクニックが必要となるものがあるが、フーチーは決してテクニック志向のバンドではなかったはずである。
そのため、今後はchickとcathyの共作曲に挑戦することで、ソング・ライティングに新たなケミストリーを起こしてほしい。バンドとしてのソング・ライティングがバンドらしいサウンドを確立するのは当然である。ぜひ次作に期待したい。ただ、本作は今後のための案出しという意味で、良いステップであったことは間違いない。
